COMIT's VoIP capabilities smooth the initial replacement of legacy PBXs with IP-telephony systems, and monitors QOS and other IP-telephony system needs that LAN/WAN application tools can't handle. COMIT's VoIP functions provide next-generation telecommunications management that assists in the installation and maintenance of IP deployments and converged networks by maintaining configuration, location, and network information from day one.
To further support COMIT users with the transition to VoIP, PCR is a registered third party adaptor of Succession Element and Subnetwork Manager (SESM), which is designed with open interfaces to allow the use of SERVORD+ to provision CICM subscribers via the OSSGate client. PCR has successfully installed the COMIT interface to OSSGate using SERVORD to provision lines on the DMS or CS2100. Using an XML interface, COMIT provides the interface software to the CICM element manager for making feature/parameter changes to Centrex IP subscribers.
