COMIT allows for IP packet monitoring through some or all of these methods: collection devices located at strategic network locations; COMIT workstation subnet traffic monitoring software; and/or Cisco IOS Netflow, which provides valuable information about network users and applications, peak usage times, and traffic routing, and processes flow records in various formats. COMIT's IP network manager allows for billing by packet type.
