COMIT checks server availability and up time; uses SNMP to monitor devices and operational systems and check error statistics; conducts fault monitoring; and monitors inbound or outbound traffic after hours. COMIT employs a rules-based process to monitor radius-web and email servers and routers, log files, and perform realtime alarming.
COMIT provides IP traffic security by conducting via packet and wireless monitoring for rouge IPs or MACs, as well as constant IP add scans based on user-determined ranges and schedules. The firewall monitoring function scans for open ports, while wireless monitoring identifies APs and MACs.
