COMIT release 4.0 CPE solution added to the DSN approved products list
Grand Rapids, Michigan...The Defense Switched Network (DSN) Voice Connection Approval Office (VCAO) of the US Department of Defense has placed PCR's COMIT release 4.0 CPE solution (TN #50741) onto its DSN approved products list (APL).
The APL offers an increased level of confidence, related to Information Assurance (IA) and/or InterOperability (IO), to users in the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) community who select and buy communications equipment to implement for immediate solutions, according to JITC. Having the APL documentation and the JITC backing behind its APL testing approvals allows for joint community-wide intelligent buying of communications equipment.
COMIT release 4.0 CPE solution achieved IA accreditation from the DISN Security Accreditation Working Group (DSAWG) on June 29, 2006, and Interoperability Certification from Joint Staff on May 1, 2006.
