COMIT converged network management solution (NMS) provides all the activities, methods, procedures, and tools that pertain to the operation, administration, maintenance, and provisioning of the converged TDM and IP network, all within a single NMS.
The COMIT network management function monitors the network 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and periodically polls and collects inventory and performance-monitoring data from the managed devices in the network. COMIT's NMS provides IP traffic security that conducts fault monitoring; IP alarm management that spots problems in real time; and IP packet monitoring that allows for billing by packet type and provides employee web usage reports.
